Thanksgiving

After Crystal graduated from Judson College (now known as Judson University), she married our "son-in-love" Jeremiah and they moved to Colorado Springs. We have been overwhelmed by the beauty and majesty of the Springs everytime we have visited; about twice a year since their first Christmas in 2004. We have enjoyed getting to know the Erickson family and their holiday traditions. The Pettit and Vander Wagen families have known each other for over forty years now and everyone lives in the Chicago area except Crystal and Jeremiah. Two days ago during our weekly Crystal call the "kids" announced they will be moving back to the Chicago area by June 1, 2009. We are OVER JOYED and THANKFUL to the LORD!! Eddie and I took turns screaming, laughing and crying. It is clear that God has used these past 4 + years to grow us individually and unify us as couples (newlywed couple and empty nest couple). The Lord is good and worthy of our praise. May you cling to Him, remember Who He is this Thanksgiving season and never forget. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 28 No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
