Music and thought

My daughter resonates with the artist Sara Groves because Sara's songs tell stories of her thoughts and the lessons she has learned through life. Like a blog to music. How beautiful that we can learn from each other and God uses us to minister to each other.

Here are some lyrics from one of her songs that reminds me that we are flawed children, in process and it is important that we do work it out; whatever the "it" happens to be in our own process.

Oh love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Make us whole
There is a love that never fails
There is a healing that always prevails
There is a hope that whispers a vow
A promise to wait while we're working it out
So come with your love and wash over us
